Nepal Covid-19 tally hits 427 including two death and 45 recovered cases

May 20,Kathmandu :

The Ministry of Health Affairs says the number of Covid-19 patients in the country has reached 427 as of 4:15 pm today.

The ministry’s spokesperson Bikas Devkota informs in his daily press briefing that 25 cases have been added to the tally updated yesterday. Most of the new cases belong to Province 5. Besides the cases previously reported from Rupandehi and Kapilvastu, the new cases have been reported from Banke and Nawalparasi districts also.

Likewise, five cases have been reported from Dhankuta of Province 1.

Meanwhile, eight Covid-19 patients from Udayapur of Province 1 have achieved recovery and have been discharged from the Koshi Hospital in Biratnagar. With this, the number of recovered cases in the country has reached 45, according to Devkota.

So far, two persons have died of the disease in the country.
