Mahottari, July 9 : The Madhes Pragya Pratishthan has announced that the history of Madhes will be written. At the conclusion of a two-day international symposium on the history of Madhes in Bardibas on Saturday, President of the Academy Ram Bharos Kapadi ‘Bhramar’ announced that the work of writing the history has been started.
This work will take concrete shape within the next three years, said Kapadi. Experts, researchers and explorers of different languages from the Tarai belt of the country attended the symposium, where a decision was taken to write the history of the entire Tarai region.
The development of language, culture, traditions and various castes of ancient Kochila, Mithila, Bhojpura, Magadha, Awadh and Tharuhat region will be covered in course of the writing.(RSS)
