Janakpurdham, (Aashish kumar mandal ) : The problem of road encroachment is not new in Janakpur city. Common citizens find it difficult to use street boxes. Domestic and foreign tourists, including ordinary citizens, are forced to use the road.

The Janakpurdham sub-metropolitan city has been issuing notices about not encroaching on the road strip from time to time through various means. However, the number of trespassers has not decreased.

In the meantime, Nitesh Kumar Rai, city police in-charge, said that while the road from Ramchowk to Campus Chowk was being blocked and the boxes were being emptied by those who were operating various kinds of commercial shops, the team from Janakpurdham sub-metropolitan city at Bhairav Chowk was attacked by others.

Provincial Hospital Janakpur has confirmed that Bharti Kumari Sah, Vijendra Raut Kurmi, Anil Kumar Sah, Vijay Paswan and Rahul Kumar Adhikari were injured during the retaliatory action against the city police while emptying the box.

At the same time, 2 local people were also injured. Helping them, others also blocked the Vidyapati Chowk road section and demanded that the city police conduct a thorough investigation.

According to the demand of the local people, the sub-metropolitan municipality sent all its 24 city policemen to the provincial hospital Janakpur with a letter to conduct a thorough examination.

According to the investigation, the hospital said that the city police did not take drugs. Dev Kumar Mandal, an eyewitness upset by this incident, said that the rights of road users are being violated. In this way, there is a serious risk of accidents to the general public when the shop is operated by blocking the road.

The municipality has appealed to the public to help the Janakpurdham sub-metropolitan city on its behalf to discourage this act.
