Matihani,(Mahottari): The Gorakhnath Battalion Prakauli Barracks of the Nepal Army today distributed blankets to citizens of the Musahar and Dom communities in Wards 4 and 9 of Matihani Municipality who were affected by the cold.

In this context, during a program organized at Shri Ram Secondary School, Matihani, the Mayor of Matihani Municipality, Hari Prasad Mandal, Acting Chief District Officer, Shri Upendra Neupane, Chief of the Gorakhnath Battalion Prakauli Barracks of the Nepali Army, Binod Bikash Pathak, SP of the Armed Police, Shri Binod K.C., and the Chief of the National Investigation District Office, Mahottari, Sudip Adhikari, jointly distributed the materials.

As part of the Nepali Army’s annual program to distribute blankets to locals affected by the cold, the blankets were distributed to 123 citizens of the Musahar and Dom communities in Wards 4 and 9 of Matihani Municipality today, said Senior Lieutenant Binod Bikash Pathak, Chief of the Gorakhnath Battalion Prakauli Barracks of the Nepali Army.
The blanket distribution program was attended by Abdul Ghaffar Rain, ward chairman of ward no. 4, Madan Chaudhary, ward chairman of ward no. 9, ward members, social workers and other locals.
