Mahottari : Matahani Municipality has expressed deep sorrow over the untimely demise of light vehicle driver Vijay Sahani, declaring the closure of municipal and ward offices today.
The late Sahani was not only a skilled driver but also a soft-spoken and extremely friendly individual. His unexpected passing is a great loss to the municipality, stated Chief Administrative Officer Chandra Shekhar Sharma.
In an emergency executive meeting, the municipality decided to pay tribute to the late Sahani and extend necessary support to his family.
The condolence program was attended by Matahani Municipality Mayor Hari Prasad Mandal, Deputy Mayor Manju Devi Sah, ward chairpersons, executive members, and government employees.
The municipality has expressed heartfelt condolences to the late Sahani and pledged to provide necessary assistance to his family.
