(Ashish Kumar Mandal), Janakpurdham: An artist association has been formed in Madhes province. A gathering of artists in Janakpurdham, under the chairmanship of artist Roshan Kumar Mishra, has formed an 11-member ad hoc committee for an organization called “Madhes Pradesh Artist Association”.
The committee chairman will be Roshan Kumar Mishra, vice president will be Reena Yadav, general secretary will be Ramesh Mahato, secretary will be Ritesh Patli, treasurer will be Avjeet Chaudhary and members will be Arun Vijaya, Prashant Arvind, Virendra Jha, Sushma Sah, Sanjeev Mahaseth, Santosh Lal Das.
In the meeting of artists organized in the auditorium of Ramanand Youth Club, senior theatre artist Ram Narayan Thakur expressed confidence that this Madhesi Pradesh Artist Association will do important work for the welfare and rights of all the artists of the state and the country.
Various artists from Madhesi province were present in the meeting. According to Santosh act, who was present in the meeting, the ad-hoc committee formed will get full legality after the registration process as per rules and will encourage the contribution of artists.
