(Aashish kumar mandal),Janakpurdham: Madhesi state Chief Minister Satish Kumar Singh has signed a performance agreement with members of the provincial council of ministers.
In a program organized by the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers on Friday, Chief Minister Singh signed the performance agreement with the ministers for the implementation of the annual program of the financial year 2081.2082.

The agreement was signed by Chief Minister Singh, Physical Infrastructure Development Minister Saroj Kumar Yadav, Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperation Minister Janardan Singh Chhetri, Education and Culture Minister Rani Sharma, Home, Communication and Law Minister Rajkumar Lekhi, Health and Population Minister Shatrughan Prasad Singh, Finance Minister Sunil Kumar Yadav, Sports and Social Welfare Minister Pramod Kumar Jaiswal, Forest and Environment Minister Tribhuvan Shah, Energy, Irrigation and Water Supply Minister Shesh Narayan Yadav and Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister Sakil Mian.
Since Labour and Transport Minister Kaushal Kishore Rai is out of the provincial capital Janakpurdham, an agreement could not be reached with Minister Rai.In the agreement, it is mentioned that by linking the ministry’s policy issues with the annual program, performance indicators and main result area indicators should be prepared and approved by the ministry’s mechanism within August 31.
In the performance report, the Ministry’s programs, list of activities and deadlines for implementation will be mentioned.After the agreement regarding the performance agreement, Chief Minister Singh said that due to the performance agreement, progress, transparency and timeliness will be maintained in the work of the ministry.
He mentioned that monthly, quarterly and annual performance evaluations will be carried out from the implementation of the agreement, from which it will be possible to identify those who are working in the ministry or not and the reasons for not working and the responsible person.
Chief Minister Singh said that the employees will understand the responsibility from the performance agreement. He said, “This will determine the basis for rewarding and taking action along with the responsibility of the officials.”
State Chief Secretary Loknath Paudyal said the contract process would be considered complete once the details, including key performance indicators and key result areas, are prepared and approved by August 15.

He informed that the public will have clear information about the work of the ministry, the ministry will have a sense of direction, and it will be easy for the Chief Minister and the Cabinet Office to monitor which ministry is working in which sector and whether the work is being done in an orderly manner or not.
Chief Secretary Paudyal has said that the work will be organized from August to June, discouraging the tendency of no work in some months and too much work in some months by dividing the work on a proportional basis from the work-performance agreement.
