Mayor Sah stated that these illegally constructed structures are impacting public spaces, and the process to remove them will begin immediately. He encouraged residents to adhere to building regulations and urged compliance with the law.
He believes this initiative will help organize the physical development of Janakpurdham and curb unregulated construction. Mayor Sah clarified that strict measures will be taken this time to address the recurring issue of illegal construction in the Shiva Chowk area.
To discourage the tendency of ignoring regulations, the municipality has been conducting regular inspections and has warned of action against structures built without approval or proper maps.
