Prime Minister Oli Inaugurates Bridge and Maternity Building in Matihani

7 of Shrawan,mahottari : Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Friday inaugurated a newly constructed bridge over the Bighi River and a maternity building in Matihani Municipality, Mahottari district.

The 50-meter-long bridge, built by Kalika Construction Pvt. Ltd. at a cost of approximately NPR 75.8 million, connects Matihani with Janakpur through a key road network. Inaugurating the bridge, Prime Minister Oli stated that infrastructure development paves the way for national prosperity.

Additionally, PM Oli inaugurated a newly constructed maternity building in Ward No. 6 of Matihani Municipality. Built at a cost of NPR 1.088 million, the facility includes an operation theater, delivery services, NICU, OPD, and pharmacy.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Democratic Socialist Party Nepal Chairperson Mahantha Thakur, Labor Minister Sharatsingh Bhandari, Province Head Savitri Bhandari, Chief Minister Satish Kumar Singh, Infrastructure Minister Saroj Kumar Yadav, Education Minister Rani Sharma Tiwari, and other dignitaries.

Following the event, Prime Minister Oli proceeded to Balwa Municipality, also in Mahottari district.
