Janakpurdham, (Dharmaraj) : On the occasion of Lakshmi Puja, 35,000 lamps were lit in the Janaki temple of Janakpurdham on Sunday. On the occasion of Diwali, 35,000 lamps have been lit, said Chote Mahant Ram Roshan Das of Janaki Temple. He also informed that now every year in Diwali, the lamp will be lit in the Janaki temple. In the evening, Janakpurdham residents, local youth and devotees lit the lamp in the Janaki temple with grandeur. Such is the history of Janaki temple Janaki Temple is a holy Hindu place of worship.
