Sindhuli, June 16 : A three years old child died in Sindhuli district last night after a litchi seed stuck in his throat. Kriyan Tamang of Dhurabazaar in Kamalamai Municipality-6 died after the litchi seed jammed on child’s throat stopping the respiration.

The baby boy was rushed to the hospital last night itself after the incident. Deputy Superintendent of Police of District Police Office, Sindhuli, Chiranjivi Dahal said that the hospital confirmed the death of the toddler as the latter could not sallow the litchi seed.

Meanwhile, dead body of a boy was found on the bank of Sunkoshi river near Gajulidaha in Sunkoshi Rural Municipality-2 in the district. DSP Dahal said that the dead body was recovered on Thursday evening. He said that identity of the body is not recovered as yet. (RSS)
