THE PHILIPPINES-BOHOL-BURNING FERRY

MANILA, June 18, 2023 : The burning M/V Esperanza Star is seen off Bohol province, the Philippines, on June 18, 2023. A ferry with around 120 people on board caught fire on Sunday morning off Bohol province in the central Philippines, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) said. The coast guard station in Cebu City told Xinhua that all the passengers and crew were rescued safely. The PCG in Manila later confirmed the information. (PCG/Handout via Xinhua)
