Janakpur police detained 5 persons for gambling red handed and seized a total sum of Rs.2,07,585 while conducting raid at Janaki Vatika Guest House located at Janakpurdham ward number 9 .
Giving details, the police said that they got information about the suspects and the action was taken on a tip-off. The suspects have been identified as Kishori Shah,a resident of Dhanusha Mithila Bihari-7 , Biltu Barahi , a resident of Janakpurdham-8 , and Mostakim Raeen , Jashin Kawadi ,Ramesh Shahu ,of Janakpurdham-13.
The police have registered a case against all suspects under relevant sections of Gambling Act and are kept at District Police Office, Dhanusha for further investigation.
